Sleek, modern hotel sheltered on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Tatler seems to like the contrast between the white space inside and the "petro-blue of the sea and the view across to Positano and Capri." The Bazaar team stayed at Casa Angelina when they wrote about hotspots on the Amalfi Coast.

The perfect-size hotel, comments Tyler Brûlé about San Pietro in the FT. ".. With so few rooms (just 60), staff remember your name and regular requests and a hotel can have a personality that doesn’t have to follow the economy-of-scale repetition needed to make bigger properties work. The family-run property hits all the right notes and never attempts to be anything other than a fine, Italian hotel." [FT] Get other tips for Positano in the attached FT article.

+ DAILYCANDY, TOWN AND COUNTRY
Considered to be one of the best destination tables south of Rome. Simple, well-executed food emphasizing an "inspired" twist to traditional classics. All the fruit, vegetables, and herbs come from the family's farm, Le Peracciole, including Nocellara, Moraiolo, and Frantoio olives, which they handpick and cold-press the same day for the exquisite fruity, spicy oils integral to Iaccarino's cuisine. Town & Country wrote a multi-page article about the restaurant and the famous owner Alfonso Iaccarino. Closed during the winter months.
