Grand, "Las Vegas" style hotel by Kempinski with lots of gold and marble, but says New York Social Diary about the Emirates Palace Hotel, "The miles of marble is the real thing. As is the acres of gilded ceilings." Bazaar adds, "It's the sort of place that makes St. Pancras look cosy and Trump Tower classy."
