In London, the witty Ampersand hotel in Kensington wowed us, but the weather left us seeking the sun… luckily, we found Domaine les Roullets — an historic homestay in Provence — and S’Hotelet de Santanyi, a minimal Mallorcan townhouse. In China, we reached new heights at skyscraping style den Hotel Indigo Shanghai on the Bund, took in the ocean views at fashionably fabulous Palazzo Versace on Australia’s Gold Coast and then escaped to Motu Teta, an intimate Polynesian private island where castaway cool rules. Down Mexico way, we unwound first at Maroma Resort & Spa on the Riviera Maya and then at breezy Baja beach retreat Capella Pedregal. Next up, the Caribbean called, so we jetted off to shore-hugging St Martin sanctuary La Samanna, and in the US we kicked back at nautical The Attwater in Newport. Check in with us this time next month for our latest hotel discoveries…"....
