Le Train Bleu
Taking the Eurostar to/from Gare de Lyon? If so, you might want to have a bite at La Train Bleu, an old world brasserie on the first (US second) floor. The FT writes, "not even the 20th century, this is the 19th. The belle epoque splendour of the dining room puts the frantic static of the train station below into a kind of perspective. There is a creak to the floorboards, the carpet is treadworn, the service is perfunctory, but that-again- is not the point."
