Great, "undiscovered," city break for historic architecture lovers as well as for art fans. Metz, France is buzzing as a new outpost of the Centre-Pompidou. "In the far east of France (though just 85 minutes from Paris by TGV), the city is one of the best preserved in the country, with a pedestrianised old town and more than 100 designated monuments historique.
