Le Pavillon de la Reine

Jacques Garcia's protégé Didier Benderli redesigned the rooms of Le Pavillon de la Reine, a charming hotel located in an elegant 17th century hotel particulier on "exquisite" Place des Vosges in the Marais, writes the FT.  "[It was] one of the loveliest, most secluded hotels in the city even when it had cork-tiled 1970s bathrooms. Expect something altogether more splendid after its big reveal [with a renovation cost of 120,000 Euro per room].   Learn more about Pavillon de la Reine and its beautiful location, Place des Vosges, in the attached December 2009 article by FT travel editor Rahul Jacob.  "This beautiful square that Sunday afternoon seemed a distillation of why we love this city as intemperately as we do.
