New York City
The Greenwich Hotel
Robert De Niro's hot hotel in Tribeca, featuring 88 rooms and 13 super-plush suites. Vanity Fair praised the architecture calling it "the most stunningly integrated building to emerge in Tribeca in years." Concerning the room decor, the magazine writes, "...The Greenwich's most eccentric touch is that no two of its 88 rooms are exactly alike, nor are the bathrooms, each of which is laid out with Carrara marble or Moroccan tile. Yet, it all coheres seamlessly to create a series of connected but independent spaces befitting a Continental country mansion." Tatler says the bedrooms are the "best in New York with tubs in alcoves and massive walk-in showers." In April 2012, W Magazine announced in the attached review that the Greenwich Hotel's coveted Shibui Spa, providing traditional Japanese-style pampering, is open for non-hotel guests. In March 2013, Tatler recommends the Shibui Spa when you're "sooo jetlagged."
