A DailyCandy spa pick.  Town & Country featured it in a mult-page photo shoot.  50 rooms and 6 luxury suites, situated on a low bluff at Punta Ballena, with spectacular views of the ocean. W says the first view of the property is discouraging (the look of a just-finished San Diego condo), "but once inside the open-air reception, the sunny vibe of Esperanza is notably younger and hipper than those of the other resorts." Urbane feel, polished concrete floors, soaring thatched roofs, private infinity Jacuzzis on the balcony, all of which Elle Decor praised.  Rave reviews for the seafood at the resort's open-air restaurant which sits on a bluff just above breaking waves. A fleet of convertibles is available for the dramatic hour drive up the Pacific to the dusty trading post of Todos Santos, known for Hotel California.
